Each Group chose to support a particular aspect of Akany Avoko’s work. We chose to raise funds for medical supplies, and raised £1,414.00p.
We are trying to raise young peoples awareness and understanding of each others needs and to do something practical for those less fortunate than we are.
Welcome to Project 2007, Stroud and Tetbury District’s "Gift for Peace 2007". The Gifts for Peace initiative is an integral part of the the Scout Association's Centenary celebrations, and aims to help young people make a difference to communities locally, nationally or internationally.

We aim to support our partner, Akany Avoko, a children's care home in Madagascar, throughout 2006 and 2007, to help their development and increase our mutual understanding of each other and the world communities in which we live.
